Jon Stewart
BEDFORD ROAD: So obviously I've just discovered how easy it is to embed You Tube clips in the blog and ahead of the pending Viacom purge of the all the wonderful Comedy Central goodness on YouTube, I thought I'd bring you some of my favourites. So here's three and a half minutes of Jon Stewart on the war in Lebanon.

O'Reilly, Lambaugh... and we thought Alan Jones was bad...
'Brink, brink, brink, brink, brink'
as Borges says, repeat a word
a thousand times & it becomes meaningless
bring... bring... blank... blink
bling, bling... and suddenly it's in the back of the datsun in highschool... "sixteen in the clip
and one in the hole" - if it weren't for the sickening irony it'd be funny that the
pro-iraq youtube vids were usually accompanied by gangsta rap. so now we've moved
beyond the bodies-gone-cold, the g-funk era with the gangsta twist... it's up to our sisters now, together with
blink 182, the anthemic
emo of all our arnhem lands
emu, emo, elmo... thousands of pills
smuggled in through elmo dolls (clever, but probably arrogant of the vendors)
it turns out a bit like yin and yang,
the good always smuggled in with the bad,
and vice versa
